STIHL chainsaws in the power class up to 6.4kW offer robust, easy-to-use technology without weighing a single gram more than necessary. This makes them essential for thinning forests, cutting trees of small thickness and logging in areas with medium diameter trees. High-performance chainsaws for extreme loads, with power from 4.0 kW up to 6.4 kW, impress with their power and ease of handling when cutting thick trees and hardwood. STIHL chainsaws belonging to these power classes are available in a basic version, while some are equipped with a catalytic converter (D), heated handles (W) or carburetor heating (V). Selected models are available in a high comfort version (C), e.g. with quick chain tensioner (B) or with QuickStop Super chain brake (Q), the chain brake system for even more safety.
